Chemical Sector

Deten Chemical were suffering with highly accelerated corrosion due to chemical splashing. The application of Oxifree TM198 showed its ability to seal against atmospheric corrosion under the extreme operating conditions in which the valves and flanges were subjected.

Offshore Oil and Gas Sector

Petrobras BR have suffered ongoing corrosion issues with their offshore production assets. Degradation of structures usually due to galvanic and atmospheric corrosion was high, causing a safety risk. Man hours for ongoing maintenance were at an unacceptable level. Oxifree was introduced as a solution to the problem.

Mining Sector

For the mining industry the effects of corrosion and particle contamination have been a costly factor to production for many years. Bearing housings and compressors have historically suffered from their exposure to the elements resulting in the penetration of particles and humidity. By using Oxifree metal protection, the whole surface of the equipment is encapsulated by our sprayable polymeric resin thus preventing any contamination and maximizing the life of the equipment.

Food Processing Sector (1)

We were asked by a client to apply Oxifree to their bearing housings to protect them against contamination so as to avoid premature wear / damage, extending the useful life of the bearings. This contamination was due to particles penetrating deep inside the housings resulting in the bearing houses being replaced 2-3 times during the season of production, therefore generating substantial operational costs.
